The Aquatics Complex at the Family Activity Club sits on 1/2 acre and features 3 pools which are staffed by trained lifeguards:

• 120,000 gallon, 6 lane, 25 yard competition pool
• Zero entry splash (kiddie) pool with play structure
• 90' double-loop waterslide (“The Hasenator”) with splash pool

Hasentree has chosen the latest technology to sanitize the pools: In-line chlorine generators. A low concentration of salt is added to the pools. Chlorine is produced on-site by the water circulating through electrified plates called cells. These cells contain rare-metal plates that charge. As the chlorine that is produced performs its role as a disinfectant, it reverts back to salt. Thus, the salt is used over and over. This type of process produces softer water that does not dry the skin or cause hair discoloration as much as the typical chlorine pools do. It is also eco-friendly as it uses fewer chemicals to disinfect the pool and saves energy by not having to produce and ship chlorine.
